and 2 private pools. Built in 2001, Alto Mare is nestled
on a hillside surrounded by lush natural Kefalonian
vegetation. The sunset views from this villa are quite
spectacular. Within 5 minutes walking distance of the
small Alaties beach with
beautiful clear water, natural sea salt pools and a
charming taverna. The harbour town of Fiscardo is just
8km away.
The name 'Alto Mare' means open sea in Italian. Italy is
200 miles directly in front of the villa, across the
open sea. Offering a stylish and chic contemporary
interior design with all modern amenities. Outside,
furnishings are in teak wood and rattan with 300 square
meters of teak decking to relax and enjoy the amazing
sunsets, the villa offers total privacy to ensure a
relaxing experience.
Bedrooms:
There are 4 double bedrooms each with double bed, air
conditioning, spectacular sea views, wooden floors and
direct access to large teak terrace. Full central
heating is available to those who visit out of season. Bathrooms:

2 bedrooms sharing 1 bathroom
1 separate WC for guests. Kitchen:
Open American style kitchen fully equipped for family
use. Equipped to a very high standard including a
dishwasher, fan oven, microwave, fridge freezer and
iron. Optional use of a washing machine. Living / Dining Room:
Dining room for 8 people with sofas, long Le Corbusier
chair, Balinese furniture and satellite TV.
Internet: Free WIFI ADSL connection Cleaning & Linen: Full cleaning once a week. Bed
linen & towels changed once a week. Accessibility: Parental supervision required for
small children on outside terraces. Distances: Village of
Manganos with supermarket, fruit & vegetables and
taverna is 3km. Fiscardo 8km. Assos
15km and Argostoli 50km. Ferries to neighbouring Ithaca
& Lefkas can be taken from Fiscardo. Shopping: In addition to nearby shops in
Manganos, Fiscardo has 3 supermarkets and a wide range
of coffee shops, souvenir shops, bars, and waterside
tavernas.
Coast and beaches: Nearest beach is the tiny beautiful
Alaties at 500 metres - 1 minutes drive or a 5 minute
walk. The coast is just 100 metres in front of the
villa. Don't miss a swim at Myrtos beach which is listed
as one of the top 10 beaches in the world.
